Just a reminder that testing is next week - Wednesday - Friday (Wed. and Thurs.  only for high schoolers).  You should have received all the details from Laura Andrews.

For Co-op, Tuesday classes will meet as usual unless you've heard otherwise from your teacher.  (I think there is no Pre-Calc. class.)

Educational Evaluations for Year-End Proof-of-Progress

Sovereign Grace Church member, “Coach” Lamons is offering the 19^th season of educational evaluations for home-educated students.  Independent evaluations are accepted by VA school districts as “proof of progress” for year-end reporting (in lieu of testing) and can be valuable for identifying individual strengths, weaknesses, planning curriculum, and subject placement for your students, as well as showing grandparents!

To receive information on services to home-educating families, and/or registration materials for the 2010 year-end reporting to your school district, please contact plamons(at)cox(dot)net. 

STANDARDIZED TESTING for Homeschooling Families:  The Stanford Achievement Test will be administered to grades K-12 on April 28th through 30th  (Wednesday through Friday) at Sovereign Grace Church.  Registration forms are available at the Welcome Center.  Your registration form (with payment) must go directly to Jean and must be received by Saturday March 6th.  For more information, please contact Jean Pittman at jeanpittman(at)cox(dot)net or by phone at 703-359-1415.  If you are interested in qualifying as a tester, please contact Jean.
