Here's one of many things the Bible says about prayer:
"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you" (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
Prayer is God's will for us! Many people have commented on how powerfully God seemed to be at work at the five15 Retreat. I think we can chalk that up to two things: 1) preaching God's word (see Is. 55:10-11), and 2) faithful and fervent prayers. God loves to answer prayers like that!
We're going to spend some time praying for the five15 meeting on Saturday night and want to invite you to join us. The five15 prayer team and the band are meeting at 6:15-6:30 in room B12 to pray. Come join us as we pray for the preaching, the band, and all things five15. See you there!
