day of service recap

Thank you to the 60+ people who signed-up to serve this past Saturday! Those 60+ people were scattered all over the place as they gave their time and used their talents and energy to take these opportunities to "do good to everyone" (Galatians 6:10) by:

  1. work with Habitat for Humanity in West Virginia
  2. ring bells at three different locations near the church for the Salvation Army
  3. making blankets for SLM
  4. help with bingo at Fairfax Nursing Home
  5. sing carols at Sunrise Nursing Home

Thank you to those who worked so hard to set up these serving opportunities and organize all the volunteers. Thank you, also, to parents who helped drive long distances, coordinate multiple teens in multiple places, play guitar, and oversee activities.
