English as a Second Language (ESL)

Fall Semester: Beginner through Advanced Classes, Tuesdays, September 16 - December 2, 2008, 6:45 to 9:00 p.m. (Students may join the class at any time during a semester.)

Cost: The class is free! Textbooks cost $20.

What is ESL?

The English as a Second Language (ESL) Ministry is designed to help internationals learn the English language and American culture and to facilitate the development of relationships with Americans as well as other internationals.

The English classes are taught in a relaxed, informal group setting. Classes meet at Sovereign Grace Church, and each begins with a free dinner and a discussion time relevant to the students' needs and interests. A formal class time follows. Child care is provided at no cost.
