For parents who have a teen going with us to Mexico in April:
Perhaps you have been following the recent reports of drug cartel-related violence in Mexican border towns like Juarez and Tijuana. For those who have kids going on the trip in April, this would understandably raise questions.
I'd like to meet with Mx09 parents briefly after the five15 meeting tomorrow night to discuss what I've heard about the situation and how I think about the impact on our trip.
Our meeting will start about 15 minutes after the five15 meeting concludes and should run about 15 minutes. Thanks!
