Here's some info. that I hope is helpful as you try to figure out if your student can be in Drama or High School Choir or any other later Co-op class AND be in a FHS sport. (And the answer is probably....no.)
Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays will be the primary game days for both boys' soccer and girls' volleyball (and basketball). Mondays will be practice days -- especially for volleyball -- and Wednesdays are difficult for many schools because of church meetings, so generally they try to avoid these when scheduling games.
The bulk of the yearly schedule should be completed by mid-June.
For times:
For soccer, players usually need to be at the fields by 3:00 pm. (As you know, travel to the games requires that players are on the road 30-60 minutes before report time.)
For volleyball, games normally begin in the 4:00-7:00 time frame. (Again, add travel times)
For basketball, games take place anytime between 4:30 and 9:30 pm (depending on where they are).
So, for soccer, anything at Co-op beyond 2 pm will be a challenge. For volleyball and basketball, players are generally fine if they leave Co-op between 3:00-3:30 pm.
Please note that Drama goes until 4:45 on Tuesdays next year and High School Choir goes until 4:55 on Thursdays.
Hope this helps!
