This one took us by surprise, and this post won't show up in your inbox until this afternoon (sorry), but FCPS has called a two-hour delay, so there are no 9:00 classes at Co-op today, and Co-op begins at 10:10 with the regularly-scheduled 10:10 classes. Thanks!

For those that have the chemistry midterm, physics midterm and/or drama tomorrow - be aware of FCPS' (Fairfax County Public School's) inclement weather call tomorrow. If no delay/cancellation - everything is good to go on time. If there is a 2-hour delay, the mid-terms will start at 10:00, and drama will begin on time.

Hi all, FCPS schools are open, so we are on for Co-op tomorrow. As always, if conditions in your neighborhood are unsafe, please stay at home and be safe. I hope everyone is safe, warm and dry and has their power on!

FCPS went ahead and made a decision to close FCPS' schools on Monday and on Tuesday, so there will be NO CO-OP ON TUESDAY! As stated before - we will see if they make a call for Thursday - but if they close on Thursday and we feel that the decision is made primarily for the buses - we may make our own call on Thursday and still have Co-op. It's snowing at the moment, and, while I don't expect it to amount to anything, I thought I'd better remind us all of our Inclement Weather Policy. This won't go out as an e-mail until late this afternoon, but for those of you who are coming to the blog to look for a weather announcement, Fairfax County has a two-hour delay today (Tuesday, Feb. 22), so that means that our 8:30 classes are cancelled, and our 9:30 classes start at 10:00....(and you know the rest.) :-)

There is a chance of bad weather for Tuesday morning, and someone just reminded me that the Fairfax County schools are closed that day for a teacher work day, so they will not be making a weather-related opened/closed decision. My plan/hope right now is to talk to Dave Ech. and/or Tim Lewis Tuesday morning and make a call.
