This weekend is packed with Rancho 3M related happenings. Here are the details...
Saturday - Mexico Night at five15
While we enjoy Mexican food, we will be writing cards to send to the orphans at Rancho 3M. This particular group at the Ranch has had limited contact with people outside the Ranch as trips to the Ranch have been limited the last few years. They are starving for contact with people. Almost 40 of us will be heading there in person in a few weeks, but we can also pave the way for that visit by sending cards ahead of the trip. This is also a great way for any who are not going on the trip to reach out to the children at the Ranch. Come early to sign cards and write notes!
Sunday - Mexico Fundraiser Lunch
After church on Sunday, March 11, there will be a fundraiser lunch in the basement auditorium for the Rancho 3M trip. If you haven't already purchased your tickets, you can sign-up at the church website. If you plan on coming, please sign-up so that we can prepare an appropriate amount of food.
Here is the menu:
- Two Tacos - $5
- Cheese Nachos - $3
- Nachos Supreme - Meat and Cheese - $5
- Beans - $1
Additionally, bake sale items will also be available for donations on the 11th. You can pay by cash or check.
How can you help? Anyone (going on the trip or not) can donate baked goods. Megan Merryman will be in the lobby at church from 9:30 am to 10:00 am the morning of the bake sale to collect items. I personally sampled every pie at the five15 pie contest a few months ago, so I know the talent level we have in five15. Let's use those talents to get people to Mexico!
