Mx09 Pics

Amigos, we finally got our technical issues worked out and some pictures are available.  Of course I hoped those would be up there before got back, so sorry about that.

For the peeps who went on the trip, got stories or highlights you want to share?  Leave a comment!

For all you who went on the trip, I just want to encourage you: you guys worked really hard. This was my third trip to Mexico, and I think this was the hardest working group I've ever been a part of. Not only did we work longer days than on other trips (starting earlier and ending later)but everyone was so ready to serve at all times, especially that last night when we worked after dinner to finish the fence and the addition.

Additionally, I think that we as a group experienced more sickness and minor injuries than other trips I've been on. Yet their was no complaining. It was a great joy to go on this trip with you all, to see your passion to work and serve Rancho3M. I hope you all have many more opportunities to go to Mexico!

Ha! That last picture of the orphans in the lunch room brings back huge memories... all week that loose round electrical plate on the wall behind them really bothered me! What if a kid put his finger in there and was electrocuted? That would spoil everything! That last night, at past 10 pm, our teens were still working and had been since 8 am!, and the storage barn was open so I looked for screws and electrical tape. Amazingly, the kitchen was unlocked. I found Dean in there looking at the forty foot long murals, that our Kid's Camp had produced, and it was autographed, 'We want you! We love you!' Sovereign Grace, Fairfax Virginia'

Not really orphans! God is their Padre!
What a blessing the Mexican kids (ninos) were and what a blessing it was to have Mrs. Babyak, who being part Bolivian, can scold, love, teach, and discipline... in fluent espanol!
You can see how hot it got in the afternoons by the look on Zach Malone & Daniel Bonnet's faces!
