No retreat I'm a part of would be complete without some good, fresh, local ice cream. I have no local knowledge, but I know someone who does. Mr. Peiffer knows the area and suggests that we check out either (or both!) of two local establishments. Here's the info:

If you are more of a pizza person, I can personally vouch for Pizza Delight in nearby Halifax. It is by far the best pizza I've ever had in Halifax. Check it out on your way out of town on Wednesday!
