News flash: late-notice opportunity to serve!
Corbin's Fun Run raises money to help families in our local area who have a member battling a congenital heart defect. The funds help cover costs that come with long-term hospital stays (Ronald McDonald stay, apartments for long-term use for transplant families, gas, food, etc.).
Currently, the run is short staffed for the "road crew" and, ideally, would benefit from a parent and teen volunteering together.
The run is this Saturday, July 23. Volunteers would need to arrive at Burke Lake Park at 6:30 am. Everything concludes by 10:00 am.
If you would like to serve in this way, please join the volunteer dinner this Friday night between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm at Brion's Grille in Fairfax.
