A member of our church, Pam Hanner, is a speech therapist for Fairfax County and has offered to give free speech evaluations to anyone who is interested in having their child evaluated. She is coming at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 1 and will be there all morning. The evaluations will last approximately 15 minutes and will be held in one of the Toddler Rooms (on the main floor). Parents may be present if desired. I will be scheduling these for her 15 minutes apart.  If you are interested, please bounce me back with your child(ren)'s name, the approx. time you would like scheduled, and whether or not you plan to be present. Also, let me know if you want a written copy of the evaluation.

I will post any further details as I receive them from Pam.

If there are requests for the afternoon, I will need to check with Pam to see if she is available to stay. Let's aim to fill the morning first. I realize that you will most likely need to pull your child out of class in order to do this. Just communicate with the teacher ahead of time. Also, I realize that most of you are probably teaching or helping all morning. Again, either find a sub for the time that you will be gone, arrange for another mom to escort your child to the Toddler Room, or find out from the teacher (or other helpers) if you may be excused during that time.
