  • Robotics Competition for High Schoolers

    Burke FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Team for High Schoolers AIM, a local robotics team, is planning for the January-March season and is open for new members. Andrew Peace participated last year (Rob is one of the adult mentors) and the team consists of home, private, and public school students. It’s a tremendous hands-on learning opportunity that is sponsored by NASA.

  • Experimental Economics Workshop

    Attention high school students: There will be a week-long workshop in experimental economics this July in California at Chapman University. Mark Peiffer was able to go this past summer, and a few years ago Joseph Rossell attended, when it was held in our area. There are a limited number of travel scholarships for the workshop.
